I purchased a Radeon X300 PCI-E video card.

I paid via PayPal on 7-16-2007. On July 26th, after 10 days with no
merchandise and no communication, I sent a PM asking if he had shipped.
He replied stating that he had shipped late and I would have the card in
a few days.

On July 27, the package arrived. It was shipped in a padded envelope
with no protection other than a thin layer of bubble wrap. Luckily, it
survived with no damage. The date on the envelope was July 24th,
indicating that it was shipped 8 days after I paid.

Due to the 8 day delay in shipping, and the inappropriate packaging, I
am giving a \"Neutral\" evaluation.

Purchased a FoxConn 7900GS from Calvin.

Payment cleared 7/8/08, shipment was said to go out 7/9/08. Followed up with Calvin on 7/20/08 after no communication or package. Went another 3 days without a response then opened a PayPal claim on 7/23/08. He responded to the claim with a 2-day FedEx tracking number. FedEx made an attempt to deliver of Thursday 7/24/08, and dropped it off Friday 7/25/08.

Packaging was mediocre. The card slipped out of its anti-static bag and was in an under-padded box. Box was sturdy however. Upon installation, I immediately found that the metal bracket was twisted back, probably when it was being taken out of his system as this has happened to me before.

Overall successful transaction, but hindered by little communication, slow shipment, and surprises.

Not a whole lot to say... Calvin shipped quickly (I sent the money on Monday, I got the product that Friday). Communication was a little sparse, but he said he was out of town. A little shipping protection would\'ve helped, too, but this was a big hunk of metal, so it was probably okay.
